"Good or evil, it is not your choices in life I have come to judge.
I am here because it is merely the end of your story"
The Idea
The world seems flat and does not rotate on an axis as it circles around the sun. The sun always shines in the east; the west is always in darkness as the light is blocked by the mountains that run from north to south.
The Curse
Four Warloks and four Wychs swore to make a deal with the ruler of The Under. They swore to allow the devils and demons unlimited passage to the surface world through portals they themselves created to enter The Under realm in exchange for increased magik and immortality.
The Warloks and Wychs had earlier agreed with each other that once free the demons surely would not be something they could control and betrayed the ruler once they thought they had gained all of their power. The Warloks and Wychs used their magik to trap the devils and demons in their own domain. Hell was frozen over.
The ruler of The Under placed a curse upon all of them in its last unfrozen breath, uttering a single word of banishment to the four corners of the Eyrth.
Once back on the surface they realized they had been cursed. They were immortal but their powers had not increased. They were also each trapped in one of the four corners of Eyrth. But not the ones they had ruled before. Thru the four corner portals, closed to all except its creator, they learned from spirits and ghosts trapped in Purgatory that the ruler of The Under would still honor their deal, increasing their power, if they would release him and his minions.
Each Warlok and Wych would have to return to their own land to unlock their portal and then together journey to the central portal to open it and allow hell on Eyrth.
The Warlok and Wych of the warm south were banished to the frozen north. The original rulers of the cold north cast to the heat which they loathe.
The Warlok of the west and his Wych queen who coveted darkness were cast into the never-ending light of the east. The sun worshiping power of the east banished into darkness. Like the previous rulers, these new powers were soon consumed and now serve darkness.
For all, their powers had changed and they had to learn new magiks, leaving them weak and in need of protection. For some their bodies changed as well.
The Mission of the Betrayers
The new ruler of ice found his left hand bound to a large rock of salt. Each year he walks from his keep along the top of mountains to a chasm and holds the salt rock over it allowing a single grain of salt to fall. For hundreds of years his journey has brought winter to the Kingdom of Palathar and its surrounding northeastern lands. The story begins at the chasm as the last grain falls.
Kangmiwu returns to his keep and uses the salt key now diminished enough to fit into a lock and open the door that allows him to finally leave his ice prison and journey east to free his associates trapped on an island. Along with his queen he carries a piece of ice that will only melt inside the next tower prison, once touched by the flame of the east.
He travels towards the largest city on Eyrth, Palathar. A city that from many years of war has built a giant wall around it for protection. A perfect circle.
As always, winter follows Kangmiwu and this will spell doom for Palathar.
Once part of the ice shard is melted and the Warlok and Wych of the east are free, they carry part of the flame and the four journey to the south to melt another portion of the ice with the flame into a mortar with lava, the newest Eyrth, and this is carried to the west by the now free rulers of the south.
This is the rightful land of Kangmiwu and his Wych wife and there is struggle within not to leave and continue on the path, here he changes mentally and becomes a liability for the rest of the cursed and at the same time a possible savior of Eyrth.
Finally in the dark west, they meet once again the former ruler of the east. Ludaja The Pumpkin Lord. He has changed more than the others, both in mind and body. He has become a twisted form in which his body is that of hardened vines resembling wood and his head has become a twisted and grotesque visage of a Jack O’ Lantern. His queen has lost all physical form and is mist like, practically a living ghost.
Ludaja has grown to love the darkness and all it holds and has no intention of leaving the west he has controlled for so long.
The willing betrayers who wish to end their curse decide the sever the head of Ludaja and carry to the center of Eyrth, the Mist Queen is all too happy to help as she wants to feel again. The eight finally begin their journey to the unknown world at the center of Eyrth. A prehistoric world of dinosaurs and savages. With their combined offerings added to the center portal hell will be unleashed and they will finally get what they have always wanted.
The Opposition
Along their way the Magik Ones have made enemies with almost every step they made.
Kangmiwu and his Ice queen Neige unleashed Ice Ogres, the man eating mountain dwellers, and Ice Goblins to destroy Palathar. But the Imperium, the survivors of the Circle City have been tracking them all along.
Jotnur, the King Of Fire and his wife Sera, The Incinerator have been most cruel to an entire city of slaves. Slaves who no longer have masters. Now have the pity of the last High Elves who have finally destroyed the Pirate Kings that ruled the eastern ocean for so long.
Volcanus, he who rules with an iron fist so heavy he has never been able to rise from his throne of bones has an entire continent of jungle warriors and voodoo priests seeking revenge for the people whose lives he ended merely to make his throne a mountain. “So that I may look down upon everything”
Ludaja and Leigha Ameona The Mist Queen who have killed more than any other on Eyrth, either by their own hand or by selling or turning a blind eye to the mighty Vampire Nations. Vampires who tire of settling for what the Worm King, Ludaja gives them, they wish to see him dead as much as those unlucky enough to reside in the west. They cannot do as they wish because The Lord Of Deceased has the power to control all things dead and only the six vampire masters are immune to his will, their offspring must obey until he is dead. But Ludaja cannot die, at least as far he knows.

What we are
by Dragontear11
What is it that makes us humans?
What makes us what we are?
Feelings like despair, hate,
or the love we feel in our hearts?
It is what we create
things that are so easy to destroy
We all seek our goals
and the pain of failure we avoid
What is it that makes us what we are?
our emotions?
our thoughts?
the commotion we create
with all our inner battles fought.
What is it?
The need to harm
others even the ones we love
all our hate,
that giudes only to despair.
Thinking we're perfect and peaceful,
when we're violent and fearful.
Is that what we truly are?
attacking each other with all we got,
intead of loving each other after all we've fought.
We're the human race,
with all the damage and hatred we cause
total chaos we face.
Why not change,
ending the fights with others
and finding inner peace
ending the struggle
trading the punch with a kiss.
We're not so destructive after all
we've learned to love and enjoy
small things like a walk in fall
we also have beautiful feelings like love
enjoying the small pleasures of life
What is it that makes us humans
and the meaning of life?
It's our happiness and our ideas that flow,
it's the fact that we are all free
although few are the people that know.

Pure Of Hearts
by Shadowrunner240
The Feathers of the Angel scatter into the Wynd of Tyme
Forever to soar in the Sky of Neverland
To Free those who are Pure of Heart
Those who will never know the Ignorance
The Innocence they once had
They sleep now, stricken from all memory
Forgotten they are
The Guardians, the Defenders
They who strike against the Darkness
Reborn into the never-ending Cycle of Reincarnation
The Pure of Hearts—the Heroes of Lyght
The Angel's Tears flow onto Eyrth
Giving the fashion of rain
As the Four meet at Last
As they all go about their lives
Humanity's ignorance of those around them
Ignorant of those of Evil and Good
Forever wrapped inside their cocoon
Protected of the Knowledge of Ill tidings
Protected from the Daemons of the Dark
O Pure of Hearts, protect Humanity
Protect them from Harm and Ill tidings forevermore
May your Lyght ever shine bright, such blinding Light
Always to brighten the Souls of the Living
The Darkest of all that is the Dark, to ward off the Evil
You have the Markings of the Angel
The one who Sakriphiced Himself to save the Kingdom
Bring Redemption to those who have Fallen
Those who have Fallen from the Lyght
Fyre, Eyrth, Watyre, Ayre--
May the Elements always protect you
O Pure of Hearts, shall they protect you
Against the Evil in your battles
May they Vanquish the Foe alongside you
The one who calls Himself the Darkness itself
Fyre—Brave and Bold, O great Warrior of the Ash
Watyre—Gentle and Kind, O great Healer of the Streams
Eyrth—Level and Calm, O great Sorceress of Nature
Ayre—Trusting and Carefree, O great Angel of the Heavens
May you forevermore be Remembered
The Dark King
That is what he is called
Throwing the Worlds into Chaos and Disorder
Darkness and Shadows
He who cares not of the Worlds,
He who not cares of those who dwell within the Worlds...
Twisting them into his Distorted Realm, He laughs at Lyght
Calling it Tainted—full of Lies and Despair
The denizens of his Realm twisted as He.
O Pure of Heart, will it be thou to calm His raging Beast?
Will it be Fyre—Cleansed of the Taint?
Will it be Watyre—Healer of all?
Will it be Eyrth—Who shows him the Tranquility?
Or will it be Ayre—To show him the Kindness?
The Angel gave the Blessing as each found the other
Each to Defend the Eyrth from the veil of Darkness and Chaos
Pure of Hearts,
Will thou tame the raging beast of the Dark?
Will thou be the Heroes of the Past?
Was thy Oracle correct about thee?
I do not know--
Yet know this, Pure of Hearts
One of you shall Betray all
Casting away the Lyght in Anger and Despair
One shall join the King, in Misguidance and Hatred
Heed this warning, Pure of Hearts
Lest the Darkness takes you all
Welcome to EYRTH
The world is flat and the sun always shines in the eastern lands . In the west where the mountains are tall enough to block out the sun's light, darkness is perpetual. Vampires roam freely in the west but the east is still a dangerous place for the people of Eyrth.
